This time however, he will lift it, and tilt it sideways (left/right). After a few more attacks, the Beaver will again appear at the far side of the raft. Now move to one of the edges (left/right) of the raft, as the Beaver is about to slide in your direction. Shortly after this, the Beaver will drop the raft and move backwards. The Beaver will tilt the raft several times, but just keep moving away from him, jumping if necessary. Do not attack the Log Champion’s tail, as you can very easily get pulled into the water.Īfter a few attacks, the Beaver will appear at the far end of the raft, picking it up. If he begins to pull away with his arms, move away from the edge to avoid getting dragged into the water. Sometimes, the Log Champion will get his teeth caught in the edge of the raft. The tail extends more than halfway across the raft, but you can avoid both attacks in the same way. If you see bubbles/movement in the water, the Beaver is about to slap the raft with his tail. If he is about to bite the raft, the camera will tilt to one side. The Log Champion begins with just two easily avoidable attacks biting the raft, or slapping the raft with his tail. Chapter 2 - Conclusion: The Lumber Champion Continue to make your way through the Wood Mill, avoiding the many traps and obstacles, and you will eventually reach a cut-scene, which introduces you to The Log Champion a giant beaver. Not too much else really happens in Chapter 2. For reference purposes, the various weapons I encountered at this first wishing well include the following: Slingshot, Wooden Chainsaw, Wooden Club. This achievement is randomly obtained, so I would suggest wasting away your riches at every wishing well you encounter until you get the achievement. Receive an achievement from a wishing well. Some rare weapons are gifted by wishing wells, whilst you may also obtain an achievement. Wishing wells give you various gifts in exchange for some riches. As you move through the level, you will notice your first wishing well. Chapter 2: The path of the lumberjackĬhapter 2 is another fairly straight forward chapter, however with a boss fight at the end. Extra information for this achievement is given at the very end of the Story Walkthrough. If you have obtained either an ‘A’ or an ‘A+’, make a note, because this is important to know for the “Who Wants My Autograph” achievement. On the Chapter Summary screen, you are given your ranking. In these cases, you will temporarily be unable to move.Īfter another fight next to a barbecue, you will finish the chapter. Other potions (Acid, Fire, and Transform) do not overlap. Once you have the Carrot, make your way back to the Bunny and kill it, using the right stick to fight.įreeze Potions and Love Potions can overlap each other, so just drink one, pick up another and drink that too. Weapons will usually have a shiny effect, which means you can pick them up. Run past the Bunny, over the bridge and pick up the Carrot by the tree (RB). This Bunny can be used as a weapon, but you can also gain your first achievement, so ignore it. As you begin Chapter 1, move right, past your first chest (open if you wish) and you will come to a well, with a Bunny next to it. In most chapters, you will be moving from left to right. The entire game is a side-scrolling platformer, of sorts. An A+ ranking (not required) is obtained by completing a Chapter with less than 3 deaths. These rankings are obtained by completing a Chapter with less than 10 deaths. Whilst you have infinite lives, you should aim to finish each level with at least an A ranking. A walkthrough for the weapons and chests will be kept separate from the story, on the next page. Note that this walkthrough will only detail key areas (difficult sections, boss fights, etc) and all wishing wells, in preparation for the "Got My Wish" achievement. Press start, go to Level Select and choose ‘Chapter 1: On the trail’. If you are happy with your game and character selection, and are satisfied that the six playthroughs will not drive you mad, you should start the game. It is wise to note down each and every weapon that you pick up for the “Mine!” achievement. See the Collectibles walkthrough for more detailed weapon information. Note that weapons with a blue icon are Sharp weapons, whilst weapons with red icons are Blunt weapons. Once you have obtained one of the combat-related achievements, aim to change your combat style until all three have been unlocked. You will almost certainly unlock “KABLAM!” and “Master Slicer” naturally through your six playthroughs.
